Royce Elliott and Roger Monroe have been friends for more than 50 years!   From their days at Woodruff High School until today, these two prominent Peoria-area personalities have finally learned how to tolerate each other in order to entertain local radio listeners every weekday morning.

Royce (seen above with Barbara Mandrell, Conway Twitty, Bob Costas and Roy Clark) has appeared on-stage with some of the most popular entertainers in the United States.  Billed as "America's funniest clean comedian," Royce has appeared on the TNN network more than 30 times, has authored two joke books, and has produced comedy videos and audio cassettes.  You can find Royce's daily one-liners in the Journal Star newspaper (look for "Royce's Crispies"), and he also has a weekly show on cable television (channel 22) with co-host Roger Monroe.  Check out Royce's web sitewww.royceelliott.com.

Roger has worked at radio stations in Peoria, Pekin, Jacksonville, and in Germany, where he was Sports Director for the Armed Forces Radio Network.  Active in the Peoria community, Monroe retired from the Peoria County Board after 22 years of public service.  A former Vice President of Corporate Communications for Methodist Medical Center in Peoria for 25 years, Roger produces a weekly cable television show on health, and writes a monthly column (called "Straight Talk") in the Community Word Newspaper.
